Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

£37,771 Per Annum

Shift Rotation - 05.45-13.45, 07.00-15.00, 14.00-22.00, 15.30-23.30.

gap technical are proud to be representing this Established and Market Leading manufacturing business in their search for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based in Stockport

Performance Objectives

  • Work within Company procedures and S.O.P.'s with Health & Safety as a priority
  • Work to regulations and health & safety legislation
  • Systematic Root Cause Analysis and Elimination techniques
  • Use effective and timely fault-finding skills on all site machinery to ensure optimum machine performance and productivity
  • Carry Out Planned Maintenance Activity
  • Maintain all relevant paperwork and auditable systems in line with internal and external standards
  • Be proactively involved in continuous improvement of personal skills, the engineering department and plant machinery
  • Pro-active ideas in relation to reduction of downtime

Person Specification

  • Be able to demonstrate a pro-active approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Can work with little supervision using own initiative within parameters of the role
  • Be a confident team player
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to develop and implement new ideas within specific resource parameters
  • Be able to demonstrate accurate, reliable, and safe systems of working
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of continuous improvement techniques such as PPM/TPM
  • Experience of working in high-speed production environment; FMCG, Beverages, Liquid Filling
  • Level 3 trained or apprenticeship served
  • HNC Electrical Engineering - Desirable
