gap Construction are currently recruiting for an experienced Small Works Manager to work on industrial projects, the work will be spread throughout greater London.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of electrical systems. You will have the opportunity to grow your team and make the role your own.

Performance Objectives

• Plan, manage, and oversee the execution of small electrical works, including installations, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and providing regular project updates.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Promote and enforce strict adherence to health and safety guidelines on all projects, conducting risk assessments and ensuring a safe working environment.

Person Specification

• Proven experience as a small works manager with a particular focus to electrically biased industrial projects
• Strong understanding of electrical processes, methods, and regulations.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage people effectively
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
