gap technical are proud to be representing one of the largest organisations who offer a complete life cycle within the FMCG/Food sector in their search for a Maintenance Manager to work at their facility based near to Corby, Northamptonshire.

Performance Objectives
As a Maintenance Manager you will use your experience to

• Maintenance planning, Create and implement a maintenance management plan to minimise downtime and costs.
• Maintenance scheduling, Create maintenance schedules and delegate tasks to team members.
• Maintenance execution, Oversee maintenance and repair activities, including breakdowns, inspections, and upkeep.
• Maintenance budgets, Manage maintenance budgets and ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations.
• Maintenance staff, Hire, train, and evaluate maintenance workers, and ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
• Maintenance communication, Communicate with upper management about problems or issues that impact production.
• Maintenance inventory, Ensure that spare parts, components, and tools needed for maintenance are always available.
• Working closely with production to plan and complete maintenance.

Person Specification

• Experience within a FMCG environment (this would be highly desirable).
• Food and beverage experience (this would be highly desirable).
• Multi Skilled Engineer.
• Apprentice trained.
• HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Leadership/Management qualification or proven experience within the role.
