Health & Safety Manager
Hull
£350 - £380 per day
Gap Construction is proud to be seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager, on behalf of our trusted client. The successful candidate will oversee a major project at an Amazon Fulfilment Centre in Hull. This role involves managing the installation of conveyors and chutes, ensuring all health and safety standards are met. A mechanical or electrical background is highly desirable.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager in a construction or M&E environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations.
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and ensure site operations run efficiently.
  • Relevant health and safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee health and safety on-site, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Lead and coordinate a team of 15-20 tradespeople.
  • Ensure smooth project delivery, liaising with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team to maintain a safe working environment.
